Theory of the Network

The theory of the network is similar to that of the Hopfield network. It can be shown that each cycle reduces the value of the energy function, so that the network tends to a local minimum of the energy function. The determination of the weights ensures that the exemplar patterns are located at these minima, provided the number of patterns is small compared to NA and NB.
